NPSC is organizing Nag Tibba Expedition for the students of NPSC schools organized in collaboration by Hanifl Centre , Outdoor Education in the Himalayas , Woodstock School Mussoorie , Uttarakhand.
The following are the details for the camp:
1. The expedition will be from May 17, 2018 to May 20, 2018. The group size is 15. Registration is on first come first served basis. In case there is an overwhelming response, two expeditions can also be arranged and if there are 15 from a single school, a separate expedition can also be arranged.
2. Children above 14 years of age will be allowd to join the camp.
3. The cost per student is Rs 12000/- ( includes pick and drop from/to Dehradun railway station and all meals from breakfast on May 17 , 2018 to lunch on May 20, 2018) and an additional Rs 2,000 per student for the train tickets (Shatabdi between Delhi-Dehradun-Delhi) Total of Rs. 14,000/-.
4. Last date for registration is March 5, 2018.

The United Nations together with the Royal Danish Embassy is offering an educational exchange programme to schools.
The following are the details for the same.
o Maximum number of students for the April Camp would be 50 (additionally 5 teachers @ 1 teacher per 10 students per school). The teacher(s) will go along free of cost.
o The class category would be Class 8 – Class 12.
o Price per student is 1.50.000 INR (1.5 lakh), inclusive of air ticket, hotel stay, local transportation, all meals etc as mentioned in the attachment.
o Last date for registration is extended to 10th January 2018.

Kindly note that there will be an NPSC Student Symposium onWednesday , December20 ,2017 at ITL Public School,Sector-9 ,Dwarka , New Delhi.
The resource person is Ms. Ritu V Primlani , a renowned Environmentalist ,Somatic Therapist, Professor, , Actor , Triathelete , Stand-up Comedian. She is offering workshop to schools, enabling higher learning along international standards. These modules will help prepare children for future professional and personal relationships, and fill gap that formal education does not fill currently.
The details of the programme are as follows:
I: Module:
1. Setting Boundaries:
This module will teach children about the various boundaries there are: emotional, auditory, visual, and space. These boundaries are taught per international standards used in the US. The sections taught are: how do you know about what boundaries you have, and others have , why are boundaries important, what to do when others cross your boundaries, what to do when you trespass against others' boundaries.
2. The concept of consent:
As children turn into teenagers, they find themselves attracted to someone. How do you know if the person you are attracted to is accepting your affection or advances? What is a yes, and what is a no?
II: Duration:
Two sessions of one and half hour each with a break of 15 mins in between.
III: Participants:
There can be two children from Classes XI & XII from each member school.
IV: Participation fee:
Participation fee is Rs 1500 for two students payable through cheque in the name of National Progressive Schools' Conference latest by December 15, 2017 to either Ms. Sudha Acharya, Joint Secretary , NPSC , Principal , ITL Public School, New Delhi.

Theme: “How to Mitigate Air Pollution in Delhi”
Please refer to our mails dated (5th, 10th, 20th Aug, 2016), (2nd, 20th Sep, 2016) and 4th Oct, 2016. On the request of some participating schools, we are rescheduling the submission as given below;
1. Centres for submission:

  - Posters and Slogans: Final submission date is 22nd November 2016

   Science Projects : Final submission and Judgment date is 22nd , 23rd November 2016.

2. Judging
Judging of ART, SCULPTURE, POSTERS and SLOGANS will take place on 30thNovember 2016 at Ahlcon International School. Though the top 20 winners would be decided on 30th, the final announcement of top 3 will be made on 14th December 2016 (when the big mela will be organized in the UN Office). The top 20 shortlisted entries including the top three winners will be displayed at the Mela.
Judging of the SCIENCE PROJECTS will take place on 22nd, 23rd November 2016 at Bal Bharati School, Ganga Ram Hospital Marg. The judges will select the top 20 projects. The top 3 winners will be decided on the 14thof December 2016.


3. The shortlisted and selected projects from all three categories will be displayed at the Gandhi King Plaza or the UN Lawns on the 14thof December 2016 tentatively and judged. Final time will be discussed later.


4. Award giving ceremony will take place from 3pm to 5pm the same day i.e. 14thDecember 2016. The UNIC will contact the HRD Minister Mr. Javadekar (also the former Minister of Environment) to be the chief guest for the day.
5. Certificates
All participants will receive certificates. Designing and Printing will be done by UNIC.(Please keep the list ready)

6. Cash Prize
  i) Sonalika will give Rs. 10,000, Rs. 7000 and Rs. 5,000 as prize money for Poster and Slogan category winners.    
  ii) UNIC will give Rs. 10,000, Rs. 7000 and Rs. 5,000 as prize money for Art (Sculpture)
  iii) Sonalika will give Rs. 50,000, Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 30,000 as prize money for the Science Project Category winners.

7. The entire process of project creation and all other activities in art, sculpture, poster and slogan must be documented by schools through high resolution videos and pictures and sent to the undersigned.

8. Role of Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation
Shakti will judge the science projects along with IIT and decide which projects will be taken forward by IIT for creation of a prototype.

Award for the IIT students for the prototype of science models:
The best prototype would be awarded Rs. 100,000/-
